As I already mentioned, I am a writer. I have written & published many articles about horses and horse care, saddle fitting, equine massage, raising and owning parrots, and other things that caught my interest. My work has appeared in a number of parrot- and horse-related magazines including The Morgan Horse, Equus, The Chronicle Of The Horse, Birds USA, Bird Talk, The Georgia Farmers & Consumers Market Bulletin (by invitation only), and many, many other publications.

These days I find myself seeking old stories from coastal Georgia and St Augustine, northeast Florida and the surrounding areas. As I sniff along in my favorite places, a name or a building will grab my attention and I find myself seeking all the information I can unearth about it. these old stories fascinate me so much that I can't help but write about them.
